we are
Pedrollo Group is one of the major industrial companies in Northern Italy.
It operates in the sectors of water handling, energy transformation and applied technology. Thanks to the activities of the founding company Pedrollo SpA, it is recognized among the world leaders in the production of electric pumps.
THE GROUP
Although strongly oriented towards the global market (it exports most of its production to over 160 countries with its 12 commercial branches), it firmly maintains research, design and production concentrated in Italy – with a plant of over 240,000 square meters.
The Group, which developed from Pedrollo SpA with more than 1,300 employees, has grown to include Panelli (submersible pumps and motors), City Pumps and the complementary businesses of Linz Electric (alternators and welders), Gread Elettronica (electronics and software).
THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF THE GROUP
With the acquisition in December 2020 of Superior Pump, based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, carried out through Pedrollo Group Inc., the Pedrollo Group expanded its leadership in hydraulic pump technology focusing on a direct presence in the North American market.
The newly acquired Saci Pumps in December 2022 strengthens the Group’s penetration of the Iberian market and significantly expands the range of pool pumps offered to worldwide customers.
NEW ACQUISITION
Pedrollo Group expands its range and enriches its expertise in the field of submersible motors by acquiring a majority stake in PM, finalized in January 2024. The Veneto-based company, founded in 2008 in Brendola (Vicenza), has quickly established itself among the leaders on the Italian and international markets in the production of submersible motors. PM represents the fourth growth transaction by external lines finalized by the Veneto-based Group as of 2019-after Panelli, the American Superior Pump and the Spanish Saci Pumps-as part of a growth strategy aimed at further verticalizing and internationalizing the business on a global basis.
